World Wide Moving Solutions

One Longmont-based crew handling every job across the Front Range — the price is set before the truck ever backs up your driveway, and the same team that quotes it is the team that shows up to load it.

About us

The people behind the truck

Before he owned a single moving truck, Grant Ackerman spent a decade behind the wheel of a freight rig, learning the Mountain West one delivery window at a time. That habit never left — plan the route, brief the crew, hit the time you gave the customer. It's the same discipline the whole operation still runs on today.

Every job is quoted once, in writing, and staffed with our own payroll movers — no rented labor, no subcontracted trucks. Colorado PUC household-goods authority covers the local work, and federal DOT/MC authority carries the runs that cross a state line.

Why Longmont picks us

Why choose World Wide Moving Solutions

Every truck is briefed on the route the night before — nobody is figuring it out from the driver's seat.

  1. 01 One price, decided up front We walk through your inventory and access details before move day, so the number we send is already built around a snowy morning, a tight driveway, or a third-floor carry — nothing gets tacked on once the boxes are moving.
  2. 02 Dispatch that plans around the mountains Miles builds every route around I-25 traffic and whatever the passes are doing that week, so a two-hour arrival window means two hours — not a best guess that slips into the afternoon.
  3. 03 Paperwork you can actually check Colorado PUC household-goods authority, $1M in cargo coverage, and federal DOT/MC numbers for anything leaving the state — all of it on file, none of it something you have to take our word for.
  4. 04 Nobody rented for the day Every mover who steps off the truck is on our payroll year-round, trained by the same crew chiefs, which is why the same names keep showing up in our reviews job after job.
Start to finish

What actually happens after you call

1

You send the details

A couple of ZIP codes and a rough room count is enough for Nora to put together a written number — no one needs to walk your house first.

2

We hold the date

Sign off on the quote and Miles blocks the truck and crew for your day, checking ahead of time for anything like gate codes, elevator reservations, or HOA move windows.

3

The crew takes over

Floors and doorframes get protected, everything gets wrapped, and the truck leaves the curb inside the window you were given.

4

You unpack, we roll out

Furniture goes back together room by room at the new address, and what you pay at the end matches the number from step one, no additions.

No surprise line items

What's already baked into the rate

  • Blankets and padding on every piece before it goes anywhere
  • Straps, dollies, and floor runners — nothing added to your bill for using them
  • Your rate in writing, signed off before the truck gets loaded
  • A payroll crew that has passed a background check, not two guys hired off an app that morning
  • Cargo coverage up to $1M following your belongings the whole trip
  • Beds and shelving put back together at the new place, not left leaning in the garage

David and JP moved our items. They were friendly, professional, hard working and got the job done in a timely manner. We would like to request the two of them for our next move at the end of February. Great job guys 👦

Where we operate

Front Range coverage

Miles has mapped out access and parking for pretty much every block in the Front Range at this point.

Where we hold ourselves accountable

Four things every customer can count on

Not marketing lines — the actual terms your job runs on.

The quote does not change

The figure we put in writing is the figure due at the curb, snow, stairs, and tight parking already factored in.

Late means it costs us, not you

Show up outside the window Miles gave you and the first hour of labor comes off your bill automatically.

One small deposit, nothing else upfront

A flat, modest amount reserves your truck and crew, and it is subtracted from the invoice you settle on move day.

Covered whether you stay in Colorado or not

Bonding and insurance apply to every local job, and anything crossing state lines runs under our own federal DOT and MC numbers.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What licenses does World Wide Moving Solutions actually hold?
A Colorado PUC permit for household-goods carriers covers our local work, and federal DOT/MC authority covers anything that crosses into another state. $1M in cargo coverage rides with every shipment.
How does the quote get built?
Tell us what you are moving and what the access looks like on both ends — stairs, elevators, how far the truck has to park — and we translate that into actual crew and truck hours. The number that comes back is the number you pay.
Will you deal with my building management?
That is usually Nora’s job. She sends over certificates of insurance to leasing offices and confirms loading-dock or freight-elevator times before your crew ever shows up.
My closing date keeps slipping — is that a problem?
Not for us. We keep climate-controlled storage on hand for exactly this, billed month to month with no long lease attached.
Is a deposit required to book?
A flat $150 secures your date and gets subtracted from the final invoice. Everything else about the price is settled in writing well before move day.
How far do your trucks go?
Anywhere in Longmont and the Front Range — Boulder, Erie, Firestone, and the smaller towns around them — plus long-distance runs out to Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, Omaha, and Las Vegas under our own authority.
